JANE CLARK CHERMAYEFF JCC&A projects include: The Science Playground at the New York Hall of Science, master plans for the National Parks of New York Harbor and the Roosevelt and Vanderbilt National Historic Sites in Hyde Park, and visitor centers and nature reserves for the Fideicomiso de Conservación de Puerto Rico. Jane was awarded the Japan Foundation Fellowship and the Doing Art Together Award for her contributions to arts education in New York City. She lectures frequently on interpreting cultural landscapes and has written, coauthored, and edited articles and books, including “Kids at Work: Looking and Listening at Science Playgrounds,” the original Kids Culture Catalogue, The Design Necessity, and The Neighborhood Conservation Source Book. |
