PATRICIA E. WILLIAMS Recent projects include: Developing a travel technology platform for Cultural and Heritage Tourism as a for profit and a companion nonprofit that will digitize cultural content. Served as Interim Executive Director of Sewell-Belmont House and Museum, home of the National Woman’s Party and Alice Paul. Stabilized operations, completed strategic plan, created a development plan and recruited and hired the new Executive Director. Served as Interim Development Director for Preservation Maryland. Kept development activities on track including Annual Fund Campaign, special appeals and sale of annual conference exhibit hall. Recruited new development director. As COO of Americans for the Arts, Pat developed a communications strategy that included website development and she implemented the grassroots membership strategy for the Americans for the Arts Action Fund. She served the American Association of Museums as Vice President, Policy and Programs and Director of Accreditation and was responsible for all major research projects including Museums and Community. She was the publisher of A Museum Guide to Copyright and Trademark, and developed a cultural heritage tourism database as project director for Partners in Tourism: Culture and Commerce. At the National Trust for Historic Preservation she was Chief of Research Resources and was the Community Education Coordinator and Personnel Administrator. She is a leader in several state and regional historical and cultural organizations. |
